Bachrach Naumburger Group is seeking a Digital Content Coordinator/Graphic Designer to work at our Park Beach Plaza office maintaining digital content, graphics and marketing for our various brands.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Content Co-ordinator/Graphic Designer will work to produce engaging digital content and marketing media for Bachrach Naumburger Group's brand divisions. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing graphics, managing social media platforms and coordinating digital marketing campaigns. This role requires a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-ordinate/design/produce print production requirements of the Group as required including brochures, magazines, catalogues, posters, press advertising etc. within brand and style guide guidelines.
• Development of social media presence and strategy e.g. Facebook, Instagram
• Weekly updates to group websites with retailer and company content
• Development and maintenance of digital promotions
• Reporting of social media performance
• Monitoring of social media for critical issues
• Schedule content on the Centre’s LED signs, ensuring that content is updated in a timely and relevant manner to maximise Centre traffic
• Co-ordination of retailer content across all centres
• Support Seasonal Campaigns with relevant assets in relation to annual Retailer Marketing Calendar.

About The Role:

As a member of our General Service team, you will deliver a high standard of coffee, food and care service within our residential aged care home. You will work with the team to ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality experience every time. You will be responsible for basic food and hot drink preparation within our Pearl cafe, giving caring and personalised service to our residents, families and visitors and also working within our housekeeping and laundry team. Cafe and Food Service operations, including:

About The Role:

About The Role:

The Shoreline embodies a different model of care, and we are excited to have you become a partner in that. As a Companion you will combine the traditional role of personal carer with organising lifestyle activities for residents. You will report directly to the Registered Nurse on Duty and indirectly to the Director of Care. A key focus is understanding resident preferences and integrating these into how care is delivered. Companions document progress notes and charts etc using handheld devices and are responsible for working alongside our residents to create a truly person-centred experience. You will hold a minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support and work in the job towards being Medication Competent.

• Providing day to day personal care for our residents according to their individual care plan
• Assist in the development and implementation of lifestyle programs and leisure activities for residents, in conjunction with the Lifestyle Coordinator
• Create a home-like environment where residents feel safe to make choices in how they live.
• Know the life stories and preferences of each resident and use this information to deliver person-centred care.
• Document service delivery outcomes in progress notes, charts and so on using The Shoreline’s hand-held devices and technology.
• Document resident feedback including compliments, comments and complaints and escalate these to management for timely responses

About The Role:

As a member of the Shoreline team, you enjoy the company of the elderly and are passionate about enhancing the lives of the Shoreline's residents. You will work alongside the Companions, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care across all standards of the facility.

As a General Service staff member, you will be trained in both housekeeping and servery roles to fulfil the roster capacity. 

In the Catering role you will be responsible for:

• Food preparation including kitchen skills, meal labelling and plating
• Prepare the servery for use.
• Check current stock in fridge and freezer and that condiments are full on tables.
• Collect the current breakfast, lunch or dinner sheets and check portions ordered and any special requirements.
• Serve and present hot meals in line with Chef’s instructions.
• Clean in between meals, wipe down tables and clear dirty plates and trays.
• Close down servery and return unused hot meals to kitchen.
• Wipe over all tables and do washing up, clean floors.
• Set up for next service.
• Morning tea, afternoon tea and supper trolley runs, you must be able to find your way around and deliver hot and cold beverages, biscuits, cakes and sandwiches to rooms.
• Water jug delivery morning and supper (fresh cold water first thing every morning and second delivery at supper trolley run).
• Assist in coffee shop as required.
  
• Be able to do room delivery of special meals or meals ordered from the retirement village.
• Be able to work around people, be polite and accepting of resident input.
• Ensure the agreed mealtimes are adhered to and that meals are provided in a consistent high quality, person centred and efficient manner.
  

In the Housekeeping role you will be responsible for:

• Providing cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules.

• Ensuring appropriate mopping and vacuuming of floors, damp dusting, waste management, restocking of supplies.

• Maintaining records of completion of laundry and cleaning schedule duties.

• Ensuring safe storage and use of cleaning agents, including use of correct quantities.

• Participating in established infection control program.

• Liaising with residents about their preferences for care and service delivery.

• Working as a team member and provide a supportive environment for all employees, including acting as a ‘buddy’ to new employees when required.

• Providing laundry services according to The Shoreline’s Laundry Procedures

• Ensuring appropriate cleaning of laundry by sweeping and mopping floors, and restocking of supplies
• Maintaining records of completion of laundry schedule duties.
• Ensuring safe storage and use of cleaning agents, including use of correct quantities.
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with residents to ensure effective consultation and feedback on service.
• Delivering services in line with privacy legislation and in keeping with the resident’s preferences.

You will assist the Chef with food preparation: eg side salads, sandwiches, plating desserts and vegetable preparation and may assist in the Café and delivering meals within the Home or the Village.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Undertake food production, stock control and food storage, preparation, cooking, presentation, and delivery in line with federal and state food safety and aged care legislation, regulation, and best practice.
• Assist the Chef in the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Morning tea, afternoon tea and supper trolley runs, you must be able to find your way around and deliver hot and cold beverages, biscuits, cakes and sandwiches to rooms.
• Water jug delivery morning and supper (fresh cold water first thing every morning and second delivery at supper trolley run).
•  Assist in coffee shop as required.
• Be able to do room delivery of special meals or meals ordered from the retirement village.
• Be able to work around people, be polite and accepting of resident input.
• Use the dishwasher and keep kitchen tidy and clean.
  
• Ensure the agreed mealtimes are adhered to and that meals are provided in a consistent high quality, person centred and efficient manner.
  
• Follow sanitation practices to ensure that all employees meet established standards.
  
• Follow systems to ensure retention of catering records for audit and accountability purposes.
  
• Work as a team member and provide a supportive environment for all employees, including acting as a ‘buddy’ to new employees when required.

About You:

As a kitchen hand in a residential aged care facility, you will possess a keen eye for detail, diligence to perform your role to a high standard and a keen work ethic. You have some knowledge of chemicals usage and health and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen. You have outstanding organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure whilst striving for continuous improvement. Above all, you are committed to making a difference in the lives of our aging residents through food. 

To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

• Commercial kitchen experience (desirable)
• An understanding of how to maintain a safe and clean environment for resident, staff, and visitors
• Demonstrated empathy with and commitment to the care of older people 
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience in delivering exceptional customer centred service outcomes
• Ability to model behaviours that align with the Shoreline's vison and CREED
• Police check clearance; and
• Up-to-date vaccination as required by legislation or industry best practice from time to time.
