Dignity - We support our residents to make the choice to live the lifestyle they want About The Role: As an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with The Shoreline’s Model of Care, policies, and procedures. You’ll provide hands-on, person-centred clinical care that promotes wellbeing, choice, and independence for every resident. Acting as a clinical leader, you’ll help ensure our care environment is safe, respectful, and supportive — fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for: Deliver and coordinate high-quality nursing care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, and The Shoreline’s policies and procedures. Complete documentation accurately and on time, supporting effective communication and clinical outcomes. Conduct nursing assessments, implement and evaluate care plans, and report changes in residents’ health status. Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively in line with your scope of practice. Promote a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment that respects residents’ dignity, rights, and choices. Support the admission, transition, and discharge of residents, ensuring continuity of care. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality reviews. Model professional standards and foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture. Collaborate with allied health professionals and the broader clinical team to deliver holistic care. Uphold infection control principles and actively support health and safety initiatives across the home.
About Us: The Shoreline is a luxury aged care facility on the North Coast of NSW. The precinct boasts a fresh, resort-like atmosphere and a focus on high quality care of our aged residents and building a community in the superb beach side location where we live and work. The Shoreline is retirement living and premium residential aged care all packaged into one breathtaking coastal site. The care facility is located within the village of luxury units and villas and is a stone’s throw away from a major shopping centre, beautiful beaches, and restaurants. We are a breath of fresh air in the region, bringing the most modern-day practices to the forefront of our residents ageing experience. About You: As someone with a proven track record of compassion, you will demonstrate kindness and empathy with the elderly and other diverse individuals. You will possess an intuitive responsiveness to aged care residents' individual wants and needs, whilst maintaining calm, composed and optimistic when faced with stressful or high pressure situations. To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes: - Enrolled Nurse qualification
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with a high level of initiative
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment and to communicate effectively with management, staff, and stakeholders, including families and medical and allied health professionals
- Ability to demonstrate kindness and empathy across all channels and model behaviours that align with the Shoreline's vison and CREED
- Highly developed organisational skills and ability to determine work priorities.
- Understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to advocate for older people in residential care and/or home care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software and other desktop applications to an intermediate level.
- Police check clearance; and
- Up-to-date vaccination as required by legislation or industry best practice from time to time.
